Experimenting

This was the first pair I made which didn't turn out as expected because apparently I'm not good at following instructions. lol. There was a slight error which affected the stones. I will have to get back to this design again soon though.

The second pair turned out just right, with much smaller hoops of course. I used my hair vitamin bottle that I saw lying on the table. :) The design was supposed to be whacky with different coloured gems and different shapes. Unfortunately I didn't have much variety in terms of shape so most of it are rondelles. I just love the garnet nugget in the middle. Such great clarity.

Christmas SALE & New Items In Store

In addition to starting off the Christmas Sale earlier this year, I've added new items to the store. So do check it out. There will be more to come. More moonstones of course, and then the newly added black & blue kyanite and some rough lapis lazuli pieces soon.

Will be making more earrings with pyrite and moonstones tomorrow. I have quite a few medium size teardrop rainbow moonstones left. If you're interested in a necklace, you can always contact me for a custom piece.

New items in store

Off late jewelry making hasn't been too fun for me due to my disc injury. Because of the pain, I think I prefer sketching my designs rather than the actual process of making it. lol. However I do love looking at the end results and therefore I've not stopped working, just taking it real slow. I think one of a kind pieces are really interesting however it takes a lot of time to come up with new designs all the time. Here are some of the new items that's already up on my Etsy store. =)
