Annual Christmas/Holiday Sale

Share/Bookmark

I have listed some of my new designs/current collection of gemstones and they are on sale at the moment. The annual Christmas/Holiday sale will be until the 13th of December. Friends and fans get an additional 5% discount just by entering this coupon code XMAS13 during checkout. I will be flying off to Bali on the 14th of December. All purchases made on the 13th will be shipped out before I leave.  I will be closing my store for about 3 weeks. I will reopen the store when I get back, most probably by the 3rd of January. :)

Some of the necklaces are not in store yet. I will be listing them tomorrow.

It's good to be back

It has been a very long time since my last post. Nevertheless I'm back and I will be making a lot more jewelries in time for Christmas. Really excited and looking forward to it. I haven't listed this pair of earrings yet. A combination of two of my favourite stones, garnet and rainbow moonstones. It is actually one of the first few things I've made and I've been hoarding them for quite a while, not sure if I wanted to sell it. lol. Because the availability of the stones changes throughout the years and like this garnet here, I don't think I've seen it anywhere else already.

Same goes for this lovely peridot and citrine nuggets. I can't seem to get them anymore. And this happened to be the last one available. Been hoarding these stones for a while too. lol. I know I tend to do that a lot. It's time to let them all go, they deserve a good home. They are too beautiful to be kept in a box. They will be up in my Etsy store very soon. :)

New batch of rainbow moonstones arrived a few days back. Thought I'd share some pictures here. Hit me up for a custom order if you're interested in owning one. ;)

Bloodmilk

One of my favourite artist, Bloodmilk, just released her Sea Witch line which is absolutely mesmerizing. A brilliant collaboration between Bloodmilk and Ovate. My favourite is definitely Ariel - the conjoined seahorse spyglass necklace. Cannot wait to add that to my collection. ;)

Perfection

Experimenting

This was the first pair I made which didn't turn out as expected because apparently I'm not good at following instructions. lol. There was a slight error which affected the stones. I will have to get back to this design again soon though.

The second pair turned out just right, with much smaller hoops of course. I used my hair vitamin bottle that I saw lying on the table. :) The design was supposed to be whacky with different coloured gems and different shapes. Unfortunately I didn't have much variety in terms of shape so most of it are rondelles. I just love the garnet nugget in the middle. Such great clarity.

Already in my Etsy store

Coffin Love

So lately I've been obsessing with coffins again and here are some interesting finds on Etsy. Oh and I meant rings. hehe. I definitely have the dopest GEMSTONE coffin ring. Nobody makes it better than Idle Hands Designs.

I absolutely love gemstones so Idle Hands is of course number one in my books. However there are some really cool sterling silver only coffin rings I came across on Etsy. The first one by Jewels Vine really blew me away. I'll show you why.

Yep it opens up exactly like a real coffin and all. How brilliant is that??

And skeleton as the band! Can't get any better than that. :)

The first thing that came to mind was "Omg! Creepy!" Lol. Just look at the expression. Yikees! :) But I absolutely love it. So unique and the detail on the ring looks great. Oh and I forgot to mention the amazing seller. It's by Wicked Metalz.

Besides this wonderfully unique and creepy ring, they have other equally amazing rings as well so do check them out. My other favourites are the wolf ring (Lobo The Mad Wolf), dragon ring (Ancalagon The Black), wings with a tire ring (Wings Of Freedom) and Grim Reaper ring. They have quite a lot of cool skull pieces as well. Oh and did I mention their rings are reasonably priced as well? ;)

For all you Vampire Diaries fan out there, guess what I've found?? Caroline's lapis lazuli ring!! I've been searching for this for quite a while now. Beautiful lapis lazuli with genuine swarovski crystal in the middle. Gothic Glitter is an Etsy seller who makes this beautiful ring along with other Vampire Diaries jewelry such as Katherine's freshwater pearl earrings, Elena's vervain necklace, Katherine's cameo necklace etc. Best part about this seller, she takes custom order! Which means she can make just about anything you want. There is also Katherine's lapis ring available in her store (http://gothicglitter.etsy.com) which is made of 10kt solid gold.
