It's good to be back

It has been a very long time since my last post. Nevertheless I'm back and I will be making a lot more jewelries in time for Christmas. Really excited and looking forward to it. I haven't listed this pair of earrings yet. A combination of two of my favourite stones, garnet and rainbow moonstones. It is actually one of the first few things I've made and I've been hoarding them for quite a while, not sure if I wanted to sell it. lol. Because the availability of the stones changes throughout the years and like this garnet here, I don't think I've seen it anywhere else already. 

Same goes for this lovely peridot and citrine nuggets. I can't seem to get them anymore. And this happened to be the last one available. Been hoarding these stones for a while too. lol. I know I tend to do that a lot. It's time to let them all go, they deserve a good home. They are too beautiful to be kept in a box. They will be up in my Etsy store very soon. :)

Off late jewelry making hasn't been too fun for me due to my disc injury. Because of the pain, I think I prefer sketching my designs rather than  the actual process of making it. lol. However I do love looking at the end results and therefore I've not stopped working, just taking it real slow. I think one of a kind pieces are really interesting however it takes a lot of time to come up with new designs all the time. Here are some of the new items that's already up on my Etsy store. =)

Happy 2011! Yeah I know it's a bit late. lol. We are already into the end of the 2nd week. Been pretty busy with self healing and detoxing. Working with gemstones definitely help. Will fill you guys in about it later. After this I hope I'll be able to write and update this blog more often. Oxidized jewelries

I'm hooked on to oxidizing sterling silver! Which inspired me to do more oxidize pieces in the near future. Somehow it looks more stunning. I guess now I can see why most people prefer it. I think I must be in my "dark" mood/side again or I'm  just already in the Halloween mood. lol. Will be tapping in to my dark side more often now to get inspiration. =D That aside, we are pretty excited about getting more gemstones in very soon. London Blue Topaz to be exact. Okay so here are some of our latest creations. The moonstone and garnet earrings are my favourite! I got to say it has to be one of the best earrings I've made...well atleast I think so. hehe.
